exactly.
being a doctor isn't a job, it's a calling. a lot of people couldn't give up the time involved, and a lot of people wouldn't want to be married to one. you take a backseat to the profession. the ungodly hours, the responsibility...i couldn't do it, nor would i try.
the fault with the system doesn't lie with the doctors salary.
