What about the reverse, a UK horse coming here for the Kentucky Derby before returning to Epsom?
Dr. Devious ran OK to finish 8th in the '92 Kentucky Derby (beating out fellow Euro Arazi coincidentally) before heading back to England to upset St. Jovite.
