Yes, I would guess so (afraid of drawing a wide post), and not really... they decided to make it a mile and an eighth track when them renovation occurred, they have to live with it. Aqueduct, Arlington, Hialeah, and Hollywood are all 9F tracks as well so it isn't a new idea.
