I've had the advantage/disadvantage to have grown up with all that is Chicago and Illinois politics and know 'change and hope' have nothing to do with this guy unless you want change for your pocket and are 'hooked up' or if you hope this whole stimulus package doesn't bankrupt us once and for all. And this morning I'm listening to Burris blame the media and their sound bites for his problems. To deny Obama had anything to do with Rezko is ludicrous. He sold him the yard he looks at every day until he moved to the White House. Whether anything illegal took place I don't know but for Obama to say he knows him as only a casual acquaintance is not true. Rezko's been moved from MCC and is cooperating. What he has to say we'll see.

I've been trying to stay away from your vendetta, but will say this. Obama has never said he had nothing to do with Rezko...It's been known for a long time that he was an early contributor to Obama and did move his land to him at a discount. From that you move to a conspiracy involving I'm not sure what, but something you think is coming. Honest to god...you could put a gun (or whatever is in Timmi's drawer) to my head and I would say that nothing will come of this Rezko/Obama thing. There are a lot of valid policy points that can be argued about what Obama has been proposing, but they are lost when this grassy knoll stuff is out there.
Guilt by association is a fine line, but when you are a young politician, it is very hard to vette each contributor.
