I understand what you are saying but the head coach in a college program is very important and the coaches realize that. Aren't the coaches contracts such that they are guaranteed they'll get paid even if they are fired? I don't see how that can be such a bad situation. If the pay is guaranteed for the term of the contract then they shouldn't have the option to go elsewhere. If the coach has the option to get out with no strings attached then so should the team.
