Well...innocent until proven guilty. He hasn't been impeached and a special election wasn't called. The IL Constitution says the Guv appoints the Senate seat...again..I KNOW, but...legally...They have to get him impeached or convicted to block Burris in the long run, IMO.
and before I get the bleeding heart liberal reply, that is not my opinion of how it SHOULD be handled. Absolutely that appointment is a big FU at the voters and the State and is tainted beyond repair. I'm just looking at it from a legal standpoint
