I really should have edited my post as soon as I entered it. Let me say that no one here has denigrated Bernardini's performance yesterday - denigrated was a poor choice of words on my part.
What I really meant to say is that I've seen comments (not necessarily on this board) that Bernardini hasn't been tested yet because his races are public workouts. Well, that's possibly true, except that he did face a couple of challenges from BC yesterday and shrugged them off. He passed that test. However, if he's going to be a great horse, he's got to pass several tests. The Gold Cup is a huge race for him........what a day that's going to be.
