Do you think I care if you bet that ticket? (Not Really) I like to get input and criticism about my choices, but the manner in which you comment and some others do is just unfair to the newer people on this site. It's obvious that you all on here have your buddies and established relationships, but "come on". How do you ever expect newcomers to become comfortable when you rag on them for every mistake?

I post my selections and my opinions for the people who do want to help me become a better handicapper. There is no reason to make some of the comments people do on this blog.

Like I said back then, I still hit the Pick 3. I left the horse out in the Pick 4 because I didn't have my sheets in front of me and forgot that number in that leg. It was an honest mistake and it has only happened that "one" time. Check back on everything else.

What is wrong with 6-1??
Dan, That is a very poor attitude to take there. You talk about newcomers looking at and posting selections. What if there was a newbie or even a regular that decide to piggy back your play? They are dead and all of a sudden you post (probably a legitimate mistake) that you just forgot a horse in a prior leg and still alive in the play. Not to mention that it was one of (maybe even your) first posts. It's a creditability thing. You are aggressively pushing your blog (nothing wrong with that) and then adding horses to pick 4's after the race. Like Kev said, you should have just silently cashed that ticket. It was a little over the top in your first day.
As far as the ragging goes, you brought a little on yourself with some of your little comments. You hit an exacta at Woodbine, then you state if you picked the 3rd horse that you didn't tout you would have had the tri. A horse that you picked paid 26 bucks (great) but if you had the 2nd choice (another you didn't tout) you would have had a big exacta. You want to post picks, that's fine and welcomed. You want to give analysis that's fine too. But don't try to hook up payoffs to horses that you didn't pick/play and say that if you did play it you would have hit the race. That's just not right. No one expects you to pick winners every race. One other thing, what's with the $84 dollar tri ticket on a 5k claimer at the Mountain. Come on! Just turn it down just a notch and you will be fine. Everyone one loves input around here, you just happened to get off on the wrong foot.
