yes lets get to the real issue...breeding horses that are not commercially viable and unlikely to be productive racehorses....why don't you trot out to those beautiful pastures where your horses are and get an idea of what they are talking about.
As for pointing you yearling to a show career--not a bad plan, however you will be hard pressed (IMO) to find a high end show stable that wants him. AND what exactly do you think happens to horses that wash out of THOSE programs...newsflash for you, the same thing that happens to any other unwanted horse.
