I think your gain is much less than what you are risking thats all. Perhaps we disagree snipe and thats fair enough.
I see nothing wrong with gambling but risk/reward has to be in line. Prather kicks in the extra point and they go to OT it is impossible to say what the outcome would be.
Going for it certainly defied conventional wisdom.
