Yes, the batter was supposed to execute. That goes without saying. But why put him in a position to fail and risk so much when you have less risk letting him hit a simple fly ball?

Naturally as with every other thread you pop into you have drifted away from the main points. I am totally aware of pressure involved in sports however I am not arrogant enough to believe that I can tell what measure of pressure had on a particular player or team. Only someone like you who loves to make arguments without really backing them up or vague, unanswerable points can directly tell how much pressure each player was feeling.
