GP was coming out of a race where he ran 60+ feet MORE than the winner and lost by 1/2 length. So, for some, hitting this required a BOX. And given it was paying $8 the other way, it didn't quite make sense to get involved. As it was, my criticism of Gomez' ride on GP proved to be somewhat ironic, as, he was guided through an even worse trip today by Garcia. The difference in ability between these two horses is not large enough to allow for poor trips.

As for the idiot going on and on about a 5:2 shot AFTER the fact: what else is there to say?

Was there any point to say anything before the race if it was obvious?
