and i think mccain altered his message to be more palatable to 'the party'. it worked, he got the nomination- one of my chief problems with having two parties with such power. you have to tie the party line, or they drop you-like with joe lieberman.

i don't think bush has been a good commander in chief, and i think his foreign policy has been horrible.
but, and i know they're on opposite sides of the spectrum...we now have obama, young, not much experience, no foreign policy credentials-so they're touting that he'll have plenty of experienced staff, and that that's why he went with biden. but we had the same argument eight years ago for bush, and that hasn't worked well. altho with the opposing party, would obama be able to handle the task either?
