that's something i come back to btw. the dem congress vs a rep president. but then i see palin..and like i said before, certainly mccain isn't necessarily going to gasp his last while in office.
so, i'm still undecided--had he not chosen palin i probably wouldn't be, i admit that. i just think mccain is more centered than obama, and that appeals to me.
as you say, the vp doesn't matter usually.
and many of these issues we keep bringing up, the president actually has nothing to do with. it's the school boards who decide curriculum. yeah, palin is right wing, but she can't legislate we all learn creationism in science class. as for the supreme court, i don't see a republican getting an ultra right judge in there, he/she won't get approved by congress.
it didn't seem to work well for us with a rep president and a rep congress. would dems in charge of both work any better? i always thought one of each worked better.
still time tho to decide.
