If you are talking about the driver/trainer from OH, not sure if he had a brother or something, but you might be talking about Ivan Sugg. He had his kids in the business with him as well. It was very sad, but one of the died of cancer when he was young (late 20's, 30's maybe). ANd yes, Ivan was a bit of a big boy.

Eric, right on with the Sugg family info; they are out of tiny Deshler, OH my hometown! Father Ivan, a very successful trainer (won the 2003 Pacing Triple Crown with No Pan Intended) and his sons, Kurt and Duke who are currently drivers and as mentioned, his oldest son Steve, who was a very good driver until cancer claimed his life way too young. Just a terrific harness racing family!
