favre still had damn good numbers the last few years, better than most of the other qb's in the league. i'm not quite sure why anyone has to 'move on'--it's football. all teams need a qb, what does it matter really if favre wants to play another year? how does it hurt anyone? hell, the pack made it to the post season last year-which is exactly what you want from your team--so how did favre staying hurt them last season? it's not as tho he is hurting his team by remaining-if the guy behind him was soooo good, he'd be the starter.
