Whenever you see a Mclaughlin horse work anywhere but Belmont, you gotta think a bit more about it. His best Assistant is at Belmont and tends to run high percentages of win and in the money finishes until they start shipping in. When they have a horse with a couple of work going in at Belmont, you can be assured the horse is fit. As an example, look what happened to your 7 in the 2nd and look what happened to Wafi City in the 5th. Both weren't fit in the stretch. Of course the Lears Princess's are an exception as it doesn't matter who trains them, they train themselves. But they are few and far between.
