You're right that he did have the fastest work on the go-back. But his most recent work going into the race was a 49.40 work at SLR.
The Final Roar had a 49.00 work at San Luis Rey in his most recent work.
Either way - it's done now and I can't do nothing but whine about it. I did make a little money with him at BM anyway.
