Zarkava looked in trouble about a furlong and a half from home, but she soon picked up. With her beating the same sort of horse each time, I'm not quite sure what to think of her. She is visually impressive each time she runs, but I'm not really convinced with what she is beationg on each occassion. If she was really THAT good, why not come over and win our Guineas (like the other classy French filly, Natagora did?) Or why not come over and win the Oaks (which doesn't look like a vintage renewal on paper yet) if she is THAT good?

Jury is still out as far as I am concerned.
yeah i agree with ya regarding frankie.. i think the winner had flown but was in a shocking position and got going too late..

regarding Zarkava, the french program makes it very easy for a filly to stay locally as a 3yo. she doesnt really need to travel to win G1s, i think they will challenge her but it may be later on and it may be in something like the prix moulin or jaques le marois
