I understand the complaints, but the takeout issue (14-25%) isn't the horseman's fault or problem. The state governments have been allowed to rob racing blind for years thanks to back room politics. The horsemen are the ones who get hurt FIRST in the financial equation in ways the fan and horseplayer do not see.
