In hind sight the winner was a 5yo running against 3yo and was claimed for more than these horses were worth. She had pretty good figures aginst this group and been away since DelMar. If a comebacker has anything to offer they seem to do it in the first two or three starts back. The fact that this horse was training at Fairplex ( which is an angle I like for coming down the hill) which really forces a horse to switch leads more often and that helps on Santa Anitas hill side turf.
I gave her a look and skipped the race. Should of ,would of ,could of ,!!!!!!!
