The Vikings are reportedly considering offering their first-round pick this year and their 2009 second-round pick in exchange for Jared Allen.
The Vikings are slated to pick 17th overall this year. The Chiefs prefer picks in this draft, but it is still a better offer than what Tampa Bay has on the table (2008 first- and fifth-rounders). The Bucs pick 20th this year.
