What is this hype you speak of? You mean to tell me people who aren't trainers and owners get excited about yearlings?
That's just baffling to me. I equate it to a guy going to a pop warner football game his client's nephew is playing in because the kid could end up being in the nfl.
I know, I know. You plan on being an owner one day. Oh to be young again! To have dreams and aspirations!! Delusions of grandeur!! Vanity!! Oh how I miss those days.
But really that's like the guy at the pop warner game justifying his decision to attend because he might be his financial planner in the future when he's in the NFL.
See? I can be creative and dramatic too. Doesn't make it sane, however.
