I am not a professional in the horse racing industry, so it doesn't matter what people think about me. I will only be an owner one day. So, I don't care what others say or think about me in that respect because it can't hurt my business. However, I think that professionals in the horse racing industry should conduct themselves in an appropriate manner on a horse racing message board especially when everyone knows the person's name. I actually think it is funny when they don't. Their conduct can't hurt me. However, the lack of professionalism and diplomacy can hurt them. I'm sure some still don't care.
And it's easy for you to say that because you aren't the one who recieves idiotic, outdated, snide remarks every time you post. Ignoring it and playing dumb is the best way to deal with it, so that is what I do unless someone says something really out of line. Then, I play with them, and that is viewed by people who don't know me as taking everything too seriously because hardly anyone knows me from this board in real life. In reality, it's really just me having a bit of fun and doing to others what they do to me alot of times.
It's easy for a group of people to gang up on one person. I am that guinea pig, and I don't care that I am. I choose to stay here and be that guinea pig. If I really cared, then I would leave.

No offense, Jessica... but believe me, if I posted some of the stuff that you have posted on here, I would most CERTAINLY get ridiculed. I'm not ganging up on you or anyone else... because as you said, I don't know you. You come across very serious in your posts and you can't expect people who don't know you to read your posts any other way. Just a piece of advice... you can take it or leave it.
