Soriano lives the off-season in L.A...I must have missed him...I'd much rather have a reliever that can close somebody down in the 7th 'n 8th.It is amazing how clubs think they need one thing(when they really need another.)Simply denial. Most overlooked piece of the puzzle is the guy who pitches the 7th,and 8th.My God, can't they understand this? Look back at who won the 2002 W Series, and you will see the piece OF THE PUZZLE THAT FIT IN RIGHT BEFORE PERCIVAL FINISHED THE GAMES OFF(a very young guy named KROD.)That game yesterday was a huge message to the Halos(get somebody to hold games in the 7th,and 8th.)They don't want to hear it("Shields just had a bad outing..get off his back.")They may get a division using that guy to pitch the 8th inning against Baltimore etc.,but when it takes top class nad,he will come up with wild pitches 'n dogsht over the plate. They need somebody who wants that situation(get through an inning or 2 n' then KROD them.)Halos don't have it.None of those guys you saw yesterday got the nad.The organization is in deep denial about it,and needs to pick up a blazer.A GUY WHO IS tough to hit for the 1st 25 pitches.THESE OTHER HACKS GOT TO GO.Romero got to go.Donnelley got to go.This (God hear our prayers)I know. What about the Houston closer that they want to throw under the truck?Anybody seen his stuff lately? Headcase may be the right guy to pitch an inning or 2.Take some pressure of closing a ballgame out away from him.WHAT'S HIS NAME? Ledge?
