I'm not positive we're talking about the same race, but if so, in the race I saw at Turf Paradise the TVG announcer did mention the spill. It just wasn't right after the race concluded. I remember them saying they would try to get more information as they could, but I had moved on to other things before I ever heard.

He did mention something, unfortunatley he stated it as an incident that happened at the starting gate and that they would try to get more information. I do not know if that information ever came, but the description of the incident was wrong. Anyone who was watching the race (myself included) was probably more incensed with the fact that they never mentioned it after the race and now they were reporting on it incorrectly. And anyone who didn't see the race probaly just thought that a horse bolted or dropped the jock at the start of the race. They have no idea on the severity of the incident. Does anyone at TVG watch these races?
