I'd rather take Griese than Grossman right now. Griese played very well last year when given the chance. I don't think he's a star quarterback by any stretch, and he's obviously not a longterm cure for the problems the Bears are having, but really -- anything is better than Grossman right now. We saw this all last year, that when Grossman gets like this, he just goes off the deep end. The second you think he's as bad as he can get, he turns into a big headcase and gets even worse, ie team getting pummeled last night and him throwing prayers into triple coverage. Griese may not be more talented, but he's a hell of a lot smarter than Grossman is when he's making decisions.

When I'm talking about making a change, I wish they would make a real change, like I dunno, actually getting us a real quarterback. They aren't going back to the Super Bowl or anywhere close when they've got an offense only capable of scoring in the ballpark of 14 points per game. Their defense will win them some with those numbers, but not enough to matter.
