Because there were two EGOTISTICAL MANIACS (who want to rule the world of Thoroughbred Racing) at the sale and both desperately wanted him. I think it is a little ironic that the
"loser" at the sales has already purchased the Breeding rights to all other horses in the crop.
Oh by the way I plan on going to Belmont today will will be selling pictures of the Green Monkey on E-bay with a reserve of $16,000. I figure this is a bargain compared to his purchase price and there might actually be some one stupid enough to buy it. Any one want one? All DTers can have a 99.9% discount.
