Not only was his sire fragile, but the dam had thrown 6 runners that I have found. They have combined to make 46 total starts or an average of about 8 start per runner she foals. She was also unraced, from what i can find, and has foot issues. Maimonides 2 most famous siblings, Roman Ruler and El Corredor had foot issues. That's pretty fragile. He has a world of talent obviously, and hopefully he has a nice full career. However, with that purchase price, pedigree and family history, I'm not holding my breath.
