being a history buff, and having read untold books on different european countries spanning over a thousand years, it is amazing to me, and appalling, how much the jewish people have had to suffer--and continue to suffer. and in the name of religion, in the name of god. it's the ultimate, and the worst, irony. i watched the video link above yesterday, right after it was posted. very sad, very touching but at the same time, i think it gives hope. that might sound crazy, but i have to say that the jewish people have got to be the most resilient people in the world. no matter what, they just keep going.
