Perfect Casting is an interesting horse who should still be on the upgrade. He has only run three times, winning twice and finishing second once (on his debut back in May). Dermot Weld is a shrewd man and i always take note of horses he sends abroad, as he simply wouldn't bother if he didn't think the horse had a good chance of getting in the frame at least. As you said, it is a race he has won plenty of times in the past, and he knows what sort of horse it takes to win the race, so the fact he is sending this colt over there says it all to me.
