All in all, I would day that Funny Cide cost me between $4k and $5k, not considering the fact the Empire Maker's odds were inflated by Funny Cide's presence in the Belmont.

I loved his win in the Preakness, especially after the accusations in the Derby...he was a good horse who always gave his best, glad to see him retire sound and go out a winner...what stories he'll be able to tell Tagg's future runners on their way to the track!
