The story is truly amazing. The horse went from Dec 2002 to June 2005 (a span of 20 races) without winning a race. Ran June 23,2005 and was off until August 22, 2006 where he was claimed by Assmussen for $3500 at RP. From that point on the horse has won 12 of 13 races (the only race he has lost he was second beaten by a nose) and all of them have been starter allowances.
How in the heck do you know to claim a horse that hasnt won a race in 3 years for $3500 at RP and make he win 12 out of 13 starter allowance races. The last few being at CD which is tough company. Now has winnings over 250K. I bet a couple of years ago they never thought they would get their purchase price (145K Keenland Sept Sale) back.
I dont know what else to say but amazing.
