You could not get within an arms length of Jordan or Bird without a fould being called, and that was when the NBA wasn't called in such a soft manner. The missed call on Bowen at the end was bad but the charge they called on Manu in the third quarter was as bad a call as I've seen, maybe ever. But in the end the Spurs are too versitile offensively, played very good defensively(of course Cleveland being inept has a lot to do with that) and have a deeper, more talented roster with an very good Coach. Cleveland just does not have much talent, a 2nd year head coach , missing a starter, too many issues.

When you watch San Antonio you wonder what the hell happens to them every other year?
Somebody looks them in the eye.To be honest,Duncan then gets to missing easy shots. If you look Duncan dead in the eye,and match his team's intensity, then Duncan will miss easy shots. The Cav's grew a set for what? About 4 or 5 minutes on Sunday Night..Spurs(all the sudden missed shots.) When the Cav's started missing a few,the Spurs started making a few.If you go back to last year, you'll see that Duncan missed a lot of shots late in the final game against the MAVS.Every other year they do that. That's why I bet PGRDN last year, and didn't bet him this year.I bet him(last year) that Detroit would win it all,and he took the Spurs. To collect, one of them had to actually win it all.I will probably bet him again next year, but I have seen enough of this league's actions to know that they do overlook the Spurs thug activities(while not overlooking Dallas',or the Suns'.) So,I will tell you right now that any bet we do next year is gunna be null and void if any of the Spurs' post -season opponents just happen to be suspended games for fighting etc. Both these last 2 years just happened to have that league getting involved to give u a warm bottle.See,you got a tape showing Bowen intentionally kicking Stoudemire.I don't know if he went after his achilles.I just think the thug took his cheap shot when he had the chance. For you to say that it was unintentional would be contradicted by the tape.Mainly though, his past activities show that he takes cheap shots. So,why would Stern think this was unintentional? Cuz he wants to think that way.He would have to want to think that way(to come to that conclusion.)Anyways,PGRDN,just know if Stern helps you out again(3 years in a row) the bet will be trashed.
