Default Ed Bain and Trainer Stats

I don't know how many of you know about a fellow named Ed Bain. He is a player and handicapper who decided to focus on trainer patterns and statistics. He invested in programming that used available statistics in innovative ways. I have been a customer of his over time, and have found him to be responsive and reliable. His reports showing trainer patterns and stats based on a wide variety of trainer and race patterns are creative and occasionally pointed me to nice scores.

I share the following link

I am not a lawyer and cannot speak to the merits of the case, but if the attacks on his business can be verified, it should be a concern to everyone who believes free enterprise, fair play, and the availability of information for handicapping.
