I'm assuming you're talking about the two horses off of the 2nd and 3rd place finish to Go Bucky Go, who ran 111 and 110 Beyers at CD on Wednesday.

Really, with the kind of trip FS got---and knowing what kind of figures he has on the go back---there's almost nothing he could have done to be "impressive" when the race is put under the microscope.

He certainly has something in common with Street Sense---in that they've both managed to get four superb trips in a row (over a natural dirt surface in SS's case) and that is flat out rare....and as you know, the quality of competiton you get the trips against is something that is GIGANTICALLY overrated.

Consensus division leader Smokey Stover, had a dramatic string of bad luck comparable to the run of good luck that horses like SS and FS have been having. He was losing races against lesser horses at tracks like Turf Paradice and to a couple moderate horses in alw races at Del Mar.

When they finally put him in much tougher races, and he hooked some of the best sprinters in the country---he beat them because he simply didn't have the same kind of horrible trips he kept getting against much lesser horses.

I realize you know this...but I'm only saying this so the silly comments about class---and the silly comments about "good horses always have good trips" doesn't start back up.
