The four raiders from Hong Kong, including the top three finishers of the Champions Mile, the 3rd leg of the Asian Mile Challenge, arrived in Japan on Wednesday, 23rd May.
Despite the delay with the cargo flight, all four geldings arrived to the quarantine center in Shiroi safe and sound, after a twelve hours journey from Sha Tin.
The Hong Kong team will move to the Tokyo Racecourse next Tuesday to set out to duplicate last year’s win by Bullish Luck. |
Nice how the JRA news release doesn't even mention the names of the horses. Just calls them "the four geldings".
