He actually held up very well for about the first month or so after he was diagnosed. But he started to deteriorate badly the last week, especially the last 24 hours. He was so weak yesterday that he no longer had the strength to walk or to eat.
I still can't believe he's gone. I had him for practically 13 years. He was a huge part of my life. It's so strange when I walk into my living room and he's not there. It will take a long time to get used to.

Anyone who would take in a stray doggie will always rate very high on my very,very short list of board buddies.
You will do what you want to do,but no doggie will ever take his place.
