Not that I wouldn't like to see him run in the Belmont, but the older horses are not that strong (other than Invasor). Just a thought.

I think the idea is a really good one. In addition to the likely weak group of older horses and it being at Churchill, there is also the weight break that he would get being a 3yo. On the scale, he'd get a ton of weight from the older horses. I don't know what the scale allowance is at 9f but at 8f it's 11 lbs and at 10f it's 13 lbs. So, for example, if Street Sense were to be assigned 123 lbs for the race, he'd probably run with about 111? What is Borel's weight?
