What you are saying is absolutely true. There IS the challenge of hitting on the 2 biggest days in racing. The payouts are always huge, especially on the exotics. Do I do well on these days? Hardly ever. Maybe 4 good days in the last 10 years. But every trainer is trying to win these races... they're not using the races for preps (unlike some races, that you hear about after the race... Argh!). So these races are about as honest as you're going to find.
