My thoughts and prayers are for the families and friends of all the VT victims.
May those who had their lives taken find eternal rest, and the survivors find healing.
I found the story of Liviu Librescu, a 76 year old holocost survivor, engineering professor, who blocked the door and gave his life so that his students could escape to be inspiring. His sacrifice came in circumstances so many years after a different insanity, yet in this one, his life gave life to save others.
I am truly saddened by this tragedy.
I heard these words today, "the memory of the righteous is a blessing".
After hearing that, I had to turn off the tv. I couldn't see it anymore. I had too many tears.
Rest in peace the taken, healing for the remaining, and for the rest of us, the preservation of the memory of the righteous. Lord bless.
