for sure though, watch tomorrow. the inside/speed bias at Hawthorne is really hot and cold. Somedays you cannot lose if you lead at first call, and then the next day it plays fair. Tomorrow's race will come down to some element of form and class, but there is always a very serious element of bias at Hawthorne. So, if you're going to play it, see how it is playing TOMORROW -- because the inside bias can disappear from one day to the next....and be back the following day. I rarely play the early races at the Hawthorne meet once it gets cold, because you've got to get a feel of how the track is playing. Tends to lean towards the colder it is, the better speed holds.
