Some of us actually enjoy the sport on days OTHER than the first Saturday in May, so for us, which horses are running in G1s and G2s actually matters quite a bit.

Again, it doesn't matter. Neither of these horses are going to win their next race. I enjoy racing all days of the year. But this time of year, trainers are getting their 3 year olds ready for one race and that race is all that matters right now. BirdBird is a nice horse and Bold Start is a nice horse as well. But neither of them stand a chance in their next start.
