Well, as folks who know me realize, I'm not a big fan of Stern...I use to watch him, until the night he went through the ashes of that girl and make fun of her...I could just imagine the pain that heartless SOB must have caused by that act. To me...he's symbolic of what is wrong with this country and the world in general!

Having subjected everyone to my rant, I must say it is amusing that folks are deliberately voting for Sanjaya for the reasons quoted...yet I wonder how he feels about that? And then, Idol is a doorway to stardom...the kids on the show work damn hard and they seem like a nice bunch, certainly it's hard to dislike Melinda, LaKisha, Jordin, Gina, Haley, Chris S, and others. It would be a shame to see someone with real talent be screwed by this...certainly there are at least 4 folks who have a big chance here...if one of those lose out to the Sanjaya farce...
