I was very interested in seeing if it seemed like polytrack runners would fare better in the Breeders' Cup. Their performances as a whole were good, I think probably right around what you'd expect. Now you have the question to answer, if you are a trainer, about whether you want your horse to prep on the poly or not.

This move is questionable because over the last few years nothing goes into the Lane's End and nothing comes out. It is in a bad place on the calendar because if you still need one more prep then the Derby will be race #3 in six weeks.

The Keeneland Lexington ? oops, i was thinking of pre poly keeneland , not kind now to early speed. Maybe the horse is one of those that peaked early and the others caught up now.
