I've been using brisnet past performances for years. Discounting first time starters and some turf races they were pretty useful. Seems like the pace numbers are useless. When they are so far off so often you are at odds trying to guess when to use them and when not to.

Bris is supposed to help you figure out the pace. They give early pace number mid/late pace numbers. I assume they take into account track variant time etc... You figure there will be a contested pace or lone speed based on their info. They open up the gate and no one goes with or everyone goes with exact opposite of the scenerio you imagine per Bris.
They also provide other things like best running styles that win early/pressing or sustained closers.

Maybe it's just saturdays they sook? I only play on Saturday and now I doubt I play next saturday because this last one hurt and I blame them for part of it.

The Magna pick 5 I got

1st <--- bris told me the ML fav was suspect their first choice was too. I knew it and took 2nd choice and won
2nd <--- could have had the winner but Bris had the place horse #6 so far ahead. I chose to single. Doh. my bad
off the board <--- bris was high on the place horse and 2nd gets you Zero
1st <--- bris helped confirm I and just about everyone else right on that one

and I don't remember the last leg right now

The point is. Why pay them to condense the races into prime power and pace numbers then try and guess when to use them? I could be right just as often as they are for nothing.

Most of my big payoffs had nothing to do with Bris (especially lately). I'm going to quit using them and see how it goes.
