He was lugging in badly in the stretch (what else is new?) and didn't exactly get the best ride (but that's Cornelio for you)

DrugS posed the rhetorical question: whether I actually had doubts that this horse could get more than a mile, after I questioned his loss to Scat Daddy in the Belmont stake, where he had a bit of trouble, but certainly not enough for a good horse to overcome.

Whatever the case, he's certainly supposed to beat this bunch.

Clearly, this is a horse that runs big ONLY went it gets its own way.


As for the top 2: if you look at the chart of the Juvenile Colt, they ran the best after the winner.
