I know a guy who was dating a woman who swore up and down she was on the Pill. And is now pregnant and he's furious because she's forcing support payments. Though she was a twunt for what she did, he's a moron for not wrapping his little Hobbit anyway, regardless of what she told him. I hope he enjoyed his unprotected sex; it's going to cost him an awful lot of money over the next 18 years.
That said, I think more research is a very smart idea- there have been links to early onset of menopause and dementia in women, which could put a damper on hysterectomies in young women. But again, I don't know the sample size.
