Not sure of the breeding industry side of why he stands for that, but he stood in Washington State, and I'm not sure there's a ton of anything up there. It looks like his progeny list has some pretty accomplished runners (nothing extraordinary, but still good useful horses).
I had never heard of him until I moved to Portland, his offspring are all over on the Portland Meadows/Emerald Downs circuit.
Some of them aren't too bad, relative to the tracks they're running at.
He did give us Slewicide Cruise who I saw a few times. Horse may be running in the NW, but he can toss a sizzling 3/4 from time to time.
