It is a great site and a great idea - retired Thoroughbreds get to live the retirement life they so richly deserve, instead of ending up like Ferdinand, on someone's dinner plate.
I am wondering if there was a way that we could pool any of our contributions made to Old Friends and spnsor a waterer ($1000) or if we are really ambitious, any of the other spnsor items. I know that Steve has nothing else to do and would probably love to manage another pool of money

I hope everyone is able to take a minute and go to the web site or listen to the podcast, I think you will be compelled to donate. Until the thoroughbred racing industry steps up and takes a small amount from wagers, owners, and all others involved in thoroughbred racing, to provide for a secure retirement for these equine heros, I am going to put aside a portion of my winnings (albeit, meager) and support Old Friends.
